  • Chandrayaan-2 is India's planned second mission to the moon,It's a follow-up mission from the Chandrayaan-1 mission that assisted in confirming the presence of water/hydroxyl on the moon in 2009.
  • It will be launch during the window of July 09, to July 16, 2019, with an expected Moon landing on September 06, 2019.
  • Chandrayaan-2, India’s second lunar mission, has three modules namely Orbiter,Lander (Vikram)&Rover (Pragyan). The Orbiter and Lander modules will be interfaced mechanically and stacked together as an integrated module.

  • It came after years of tension over Iran's alleged efforts to develop a nuclear weapon. Iran insisted that its nuclear programme was entirely peaceful, but the international community did not believe that.
  • In 2015, Iran agreed a long-term deal on its nuclear programme with a group of world powers known as the P5+1 - the US, UK, France, China, Russia and Germany.
  • Under the accord, Iran agreed to limit its sensitive nuclear activities and allow in international inspectors in return for the lifting of crippling economic sanctions.

  • WhatsApp discovered the bug earlier this month and it began rolling out an update to secure its servers last Friday and a security patch to its customers on Monday
  • A simple WhatsApp call made on your smartphone - even if you don't recieve it - leaves your phone and all the data, including your call logs, your emails, your messages, photos etc
  • Israeli cyber intelligence company, NSO is being blamed for using this bug to hack other devices.
