  • Bradman Oval is now one of the most sought after playing grounds in Australia, hosting regular one-day international matches, later reduced to one playing field in 1920's
  • It also hosts cricket coaching camps, home games for the Bowral Cricket Club and social matches it remains a recreation area for the township of Bowral remaining true to its original purpose of 1909
  • Bradman Oval is located on land which formed part of Governor Thomas Brisbane’s original land grant of 2,400 acres in June 1823 to John Oxley, Surveyor General of the Colony; this was the first land granted in Bowral

  • To commemorate Rahul Dravid’s 10,000 Test runs, Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA) had built a wall with 10,000 bricks in the M Chinnaswamy stadium in Bengaluru
  • A metal statue of Dravid playing his trademark cover-drive along with the words “Commitment, Consistency, Class” are inscribed on the wall
  • When you walk next time into M Chinnaswamy Stadium, a major landmark of Bangalore, you will certainly not miss "The Wall", which is Rahul Dravid's cricketing nickname as well

  • The only time two innings were declared for 0-0 in the test cricket was in 1999-2000 during a game between England and South Africa
  • South Africa scored 248/8 in the first innings and declared it as the second, third and the fourth day of the test were washed off due to rain
  • Captains Hansie Cronje and Nasser Hussain decided to play for the result in the spirit of the game and England declared their first inning on 0-0
