Israeli cyber intelligence company, NSO is being blamed for using this bug to hack other devices.
It attacks both ios and android.
The company, at the moment, is in the early stages of its investigation to determine how many people were affected using this hack.
Whatsapp has briefed a number of human rights organisations to share the information and urged users to update thier app as soon as possible.
