How was It Invented? Series- A Microwave

  • Percy Lebaron Spencer was an American physicist and inventor.
  • He became known as the inventor of the microwave oven.
  • How? -Spencer was working on building magnetrons for radar sets, he was standing in front of an active radar set when he noticed the candy bar he had melted.
  • He investigated the radar, tried heating items and similar heating effect could be observed.
