India’s Real life ‘James Bond’

  • He went to Kashmir in 1990 and persuaded hardcore militant like Kuka Parry and his followers to become counter-insurgents. It cleared the way for elections in J&K in the year 1996.
  • In June 2014, Doval ensured the safe return of 46 Indian nurses who were trapped in a hospital in Tikrit,Iraq. Doval went on a top secret mission and flew to Iraq on 25 June 2014. He made high-level contacts in the Iraq.
  • Doval planned a military operation along with the Army Chief General Dalbir Singh Suhag. It was against the Indian militants who were operating in Myanmar.This mission was successful wiith 50 militant casultaies.
  • Doval was one of the three negotiators who negotiated the release of the IC-814 passengers kept as hostages in the infamous hijack incident in Kandahar.
