Reliance Jio’s e-commerce portal JioMart has finally gone live after months of testing and the company has also started receiving orders from serviceable pin codes.
On just typing 'Hi', the company will then send a link to the customer's WhatsApp account. This link should be accessed within 30 minutes after which it will expire.

Facebook recently acquired shares in Reliance, making it the biggest minority shareholder in the Indian company.
Facebook’s daughter company, WhatsApp also signed a commercial agreement with Reliance Jio over its online venture JioMart.
In order to place an order on JioMart, users will first have to save the WhatsApp business number allotted to JioMart which is 88500 08000.

Over 3 crores offline retailor with over 20 crore household in India will connect through Reliance Jiomart.
JioMart is expected to increase competition for e-commerce platforms such as Flipkart and Amazon.
Especially, it will increase competition to Amazon Prime, that offers express delivery.
It may also take on existing grocery delivering platforms such Bigbasket and Grofers.
