A New Fundamental Right.

  • The Constitution of India offers all citizens, some basic freedom. Which are referred to as Fundamental Rights.
  • Till now 6 Fundamental Rights were stated in the Constitution of India. However recently Supreme Court added a new right to the previous list.
  • 1) Right to Equality.
  • 2) Right to Freedom.
  • 3) Right against Exploitation.
  • 4) Right to Freedom of Religion.
  • 5) Cultural and Educational Rights.
  • 6) Right to Constitutional Remedies.
  • 7) Right to Privacy.
  • -There is another fundamental right that might not have been stated, but is equally important and that is 'Right to Life'.
