Mixed reality takes place not only in the physical world or the virtual world, but is a mix of reality and virtual reality.
In mixed reality, user will be able to navigate through the real world and the virtual environment seamlessly at the same time.
In theory, mixed reality lets the user see the real world (like AR) while also seeing believable, virtual objects (like VR).
And then it anchors those virtual objects to a point in real space, making it possible to treat them as "real,".
The virtual objects will be positioned in the real world space and coordinates. Whenever you moved towards it, the virtual objects will get bigger & vice versa.
And whenever you moved around it, you can see the virtual objects from different angles and perspectives. Just like the behaviour of real objects.
Furthermore, in mixed reality, users also able to manipulate the virtual objects as well.
Users can interact with their concepts in virtual objects form as if they were exist in front of them.
The experience is like viewing the holograms objects.
Some examples of the mixed reality technology are Microsoft HoloLens, Magic Leap and Canon MREAL System
